Professor John Sands, BBusGCUCGU BBusUSQ MPhilGrif PhDGrif DipMktRsh DipAII FCPA CMA FAIM, has a PhD qualification in Accounting and is a FCPA. He has been either a team leader or member of 16 research grant projects. He has held academic positions of Head of Discipline (accounting), Director of Undergraduate Programmes, Assistant Dean Learning and Teaching, Chair of AFAANZ Management Accounting Special Interest Group (SIG8), Member of the Asia-Pacific EMAN Steering Committee, Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) Expert, State Personal Lines Product Manager and State Finance Administration manager corporate positions.
